I don't believe I have not written anything since November 2018! What a crazy, whirlwind of a school year!!!! I am finally starting to breathe again - now that I am not treading water. 😩Last year was "one of those years" for me. Loved my students, but the workload was intense. I can't believe that I have been out of school for 2 weeks already! Are you out of school too? Or are you still plugging away? What have you been doing these first few beautiful days of summer?
I have been enjoying playing Words with Friends, reading a variety of books on my Kindle, and "playing" Aunt Sandy School with one niece and one nephew. My niece just turned five, starts Kindergarten in September, but wants to learn to read this summer. She also wants me to teach her all about mailboxes and traffic cones! PRECIOUS!!!
My nephew is going into fourth grade and wants to learn all about fractions. Which, as you probably know by now, makes me insanely happy. I could teach math all day, every day. So the fact that he wants me to work with him over the summer... I'm in HEAVEN!
