I hope you are enjoying your summer! If you're still in school, then bless your heart! :) I have been out of school for a few weeks now, and I am enjoying every moment of it! I already have a ton of ideas for next year thanks to Teachers Pay Teachers and Pinterest!
So I am going into my 18th year of teaching, and am really looking forward to this upcoming school year. Huge changes! I am going back to 5th grade after having spent 8 years in 3rd grade. Not only that, but next year will be something I have never experience before. I will be departmentalizing with another teacher. I will be teaching math and science to 2 classes, and my partner teacher will be teacher English/ Language Arts and Social Studies to our 2 classes. New room in a new building, a new grade (well not that new, I did teach 5th grade before- but so much has changed since then!), new style of teaching, and new colleagues (plus the colleagues I already know and love).

Summertime Bliss
It's June!
I can't believe that school has been out for 2 weeks already! I have been enjoying playing Words with Friends, reading a variety of books on my Kindle, and leading my niece and nephews in craft projects just to name a few things that now have new found time!
So far I have read 15 books.... yes I realize that's about a book per day. Sometimes I have a hard time putting down a good book.
